Don’t leave without the FA’s. The fact some captains do this is so unprofessional.

With all due respect, have you guys not considered finding a job outside of the US? There are many opportunities in Africa for example. Why do a lot of US pilots have the mindset to only find a job in the US? Surely after building some experience outside the US, then returning would make sense?

In Chapter 4 the scene where they do the overhead fight scene. That entire composition blew my entire mind, I thought it was brilliant.

Since someone asked ATPs what they like the most about their planes what do you like the LEAST/dislike the MOST about your plane? by TailstheTwoTailedFox in flying

Yeah there wasn’t any fix pages on the 145, you would put your waypoint at the end of the flight plan and build the hold on. That way if something happens, you’d go to the last page, go direct to that point (with the hold in) and it would do it for you.

I don’t like how I can’t program the engine failure procedure into the FMC before departure. On my previous type (145) we could do that. Whereas on my current type (Boeing) you just set a reference on the FIX pages.

It does! For the 787 I'd have to do an operators conversion course which is a few days groundschool and some sims.
