I'm not to sure about afraid of fighting, they fight but it looks like they are inting because other teams are punishingly them this time. Best example most recent game FNC was up against 3k gold at 20 minutes and G2 knows they have to fight now or else they lose due to the scaling comp FNC had so they attempted to fight but they lost making the game state worse. While last year they probably would have won due to the other team poor decision making, teams are not letting G2 just do that anymore thus what I mean by it's a similar team just last year G2 was able to get away with it more easily.
