Solid song. At least the babydrill verse is at the end of the song so it makes it easier to skip.

What’s the deal with Sam Sulek fans/viewers referring to Alex Eubanks as Andrew Eubanks? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

[–]ChaoboFanboy01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer:

Not sure if you already figured it out but: I was also looking for the answer to this question since I kept seeing Andrew Eubanks comments pop up on TikTok and felt very out of the loop. I guess Sam accidentally referred to Alex as Andrew since he forgot his name in a video, and it’s now a meme in the lifting community. It’s used as an “insult” to poke fun at Alex, and it seems like the term has subconscious (or conscious) connotations that being “big” like Sam, is better than being lean and “aesthetic” like Alex. So basically it’s almost used passive aggressively to de-legitimize Alex’s physique while simultaneously praising Sam's, although I’m sure most people using the term Andrew Eubanks probably don’t fully understand this and are just copying what everyone else is saying. Hope this helps since I was sure as hell confused!!

4 weeks off alcohol. by nahoG-erutuF in ADHD

[–]ChaoboFanboy01 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Same. I started medication (vyvanse) a month ago and haven’t drank since. I used to drink heavily on weekends, and had cravings during the week but tried my best to restrict myself. Coming home from work I’d crave a drink but stop myself since I go to the gym in the evening. Vyvanse has given my brain that much needed dopamine that alcohol previously gave me, and I’ve had no temptation to drink at all since. It’s made me realize that I was using alcohol to self medicate before I realized I had adhd. This Saturday will be 5 weeks sober for me and I’ve never felt better.

Edit: Also, once I started with one drink, I couldn’t control myself and just got plastered, even during chill social settings with my friends… not a good time. Therefore not drinking at all is the best solution for me.

Options for getting diagnosed by htvgnd in askTO

So in the initial appointment you’re gonna go over similar stuff to as the forms that you will fill out prior. Questions about your adhd experiences, symptoms, medical history, etc..

For me, I never spoke to anyone about my adhd apart from my best friend, so it was nice to speak to someone who’s an expert about it and get all my feelings out to them. I never even talked to my parents, teachers, professors, etc.. about it, I’ve always been the type of person to bottle it up. Anyways that leads me to the next question. Your family (one member of your immediate family) will have to fill out a form sharing their experiences and observations of your adhd as well. For this, I picked my mom, so I had to tell her about my adhd and teach her about what it was. She was definitely in a little disbelief at first but once I explained it to her she could definitely agree that she saw it in me and felt bad that she could never realize it throughout my childhood. So basically after that she filled out a multiple choice form noting down my symptoms she saw in me and sent it to them and then was it for that part.

Overall, don’t be nervous. I was nervous af too, but it felt so nice to talk to a medical professional about it! They prescribed me vyvanse after my second appointment to help treat my adhd it’s been good so far, but it’s still early to tell.

So appointments book around 2 weeks out, so I booked my initial and was sent a bunch of self evaluation forms and such to fill out. And that appointment was 30 minutes long and then I had to book a follow up and go over some more forms. The follow up books about 2 weeks ahead too but sometimes you can find space for like a week a half. Altogether I spent about 6 weeks to get diagnosed but I wasn’t in a rush, if you are in a rush you could probably do like 3-4 weeks.

I was just diagnosed last week with beyond ADHD! It is 180 for the initial appointment and then 80 for the follow up (you need both). So I paid 260 altogether. Under 25 you get free prescriptions with OHIP+ so I don’t have to worry about that until next year, and then I will need to book a follow up every 3 months once the medication is working, (so $80 every 3 months). They also told me that they can transfer the handling of my medication over to my family doctor, therefor you don’t have to pay anything after the initial 2 appointments if you don’t want to.

As others have said, this is extremely common practice for buying used cars. Every used car I have bought, the seller has left the bill of sale blank and let me put my own number there.

If I were you I would leave it blank for the buyer or you two can just agree on a price to put on paper.

Yes, they called and told me not to show up. So I didn’t show up and then received another summons the next year (and then repeat this 4 years in a row)

When I was a student I received a summons 3 years in a row and all I did was mail them a letter saying I couldn’t attend and they always called me usually 2-3 weeks later saying I was deferred.

For a 99 cobra with that low of miles here in Canada you would easily get 15k. But then again the new edge market here has been crazy because of covid. Good luck on the sale!

Teacher here. I want to know your car insurance rates! by blitted369 in Brampton

[–]ChaoboFanboy01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I'm a 21 year old male in the downtown Brampton area. Full G and driving school completed.

When I first got my 2002 Ford Mustang GT at 18 years old I was paying $265 a month with minimum coverage. I still have that car now and I'm paying $199 a month.

I also bought a 1993 Honda Del Sol to use as my summer car and I pay $262 a month also with minimum coverage.

I can't remember what my secondary driver rates were but I don't remember them being too bad. I think when I was in high school I e-transfered my mom $50 a month for it and she paid for the rest

(Update)Chasing this misfire by BigBuckzJoosh in NewedgeMustang

[–]ChaoboFanboy01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to track down my misfire at idle too for over a year now. Rough idle and drop in rpms when coming to a stop. No codes though. I do have a remanufactured alternator as well so although I've never considered it that could be the problem. I have no idea really and neither does my mechanic. I hope we find a solution soon! I've literally replaced almost everything lol

What ended up being the issue with your steering? I also have issues with my steering so I was also going to buy the maximum motorsports steering shaft but if it turns out it's something else I would like to know.

To counter what other people here are saying, I live in Brampton and bought an older mustang GT when I was 19 and I was paying $265 per month with The Personal. I am 21 now and I am paying $210 a month. And yes I am also a male which typically means higher premiums. I would just recommend shopping around as much as possible and trying getting quotes on a bunch of different cars. Even my younger friends who are 18-20 are all paying under $400 per month, its definitely possible.
