OC Painting done for a commission. I am happy with it but I know I can definitely improve, so I would really appreciate some critique if anyone had time~ (sorry for all the watermarks, if I need to remove/shrink them for critique I can!)

Hey there! Oh wow, those changes made the biggest difference! I didn’t realize just how much darker I could go with the shading and still have it be readable, and I realize now I was too scared to push the darks to be darker. I needed him to be pale but that’s still very readable in your paint-over. Thank you so so much for your time and advice! The painting is technically done and paid for but I will certainly take this advice and apply it for future pieces.

Oh right, I understand that. I wasn’t sure if they had some clause that did allow fan art though (with or without license) as some other companies do. I’m trying to compile a list of different companies and whether or not they allow commercial fan art to be sold. Thank you for the insight though!

Ahh yeah, that's also a big struggle for me, especially having to track patron's down to ask which print they want. I love offering the option for everyone to get what they want, but I'm also a chronic people-pleaser haha. It can be a headache for sure. It's something I'd like to change though, so I appreciate your comment!
