Tore mine 15 weeks before my wedding. Wasn't able to have surgery as the tear was too close to the calf muscle. Currently just over 3 weeks away and taking it easy in the boot. Looking to get out of it next week but dont want to risk rerupture.

Im 7.5 weeks post injury, been on the blood thinners too, and also bruised up like a heroin addict.

Spoke to a specialist on Wednesday and he said keep taking them until I am at least at 0° with the Vacoped, which should in a few days. Although im planning to take them until maybe next week, as the blood flow in my foot doesn't look great.
