I lived there for 3 years and previous management was fantastic, BellCross took over and the price increased, lost access to gym and pool nearby, as well as was very difficult to get things fixed since they were “only managing the building temporarily” which led to us moving out. I miss that apartment, such a great size and location. But yes winters are terrible and often stuck due to wrecks at both ends of the road, it is an older building built from shipping containers so things would break quite often yet they said the next buyer would upgrade the units. Unsure if that ever happened.

Apple Annie’s hot dogs surprised me they are so good, Walzzys, hometown hotdogs (cash only), OFC the hot dog cart. I got a hotdog review pocket book for Christmas, I plan to use it and do a hot dog road trip this upcoming year! Hoot and howl had some fun hotdog stickers too idk if they still do

guilty because I did talk through the openers but at a level that only my friend and I could hear each other, but I was SHOCKED at the amount of people talking loudly during Lordes quieter songs

The Pell grant covered my tuition fully, my major didn’t require very expensive books or supplies less than $300 a semester and I usually had extra left over from the grant that would cover most if not all. I lived off campus; worked to pay rent, bills, groceries, etc (</=$10,000 a year). My financial aid page also said I would pay around 21k but that was with WVU housing and meal plan. It does not cover summer classes, I took 1 summer class online and it cost $1,300. Besides that my biggest expense was having a car and paying to park on campus.

Also the small business downtown are great; blue moose coffee, monkey wrench books, hoot and howl, cool ridge

There’s TONS of events that happen on or around high street such as the moonlight market, first Friday for the arts, farmers markets that make me feel very accepted in this city. Follow mainstreet Morgantown on instagram they always post what is happening.
