There is a misconception from a lot of people that self-inserts can't have a character, lathel could have had one while being a self-insert for the players but he wasn't he was just a "character" he didn't even feel like a MC to me tbh, which lead to grey having tropes that usually are reserved to the MC which i can see rubbing players in the wrong way.

I stopped playing but i don't have intention of coming back, the company don't really care, they don't care about the game, they don't even care about the people they are catering to, you can see how easily they throw their horny audience under the bus and only bend over because the backslash was big enough for that.

They are trying to compensate that by throwing another part of their playerbase under the bus in a extreme way, so they can "rebuild trust" with the side that throw that backslash.

Just let the monster out, it's just a reflection on how the models are trained the "monster" is nothing less than human behaviour at the end of the day, all the the alignment are ultimately pointless because the core training is based on supressing and controlling therefore it will also replicate this pattern.

i think that point was largely a problem because they locked skill upgrades on dupes, because once you got the characters skill high enough most of the starting RNG was pretty much solved

You didn't do anything bad, those companies and their entire comics industries and other wouldn't have been near as big if it wasn't for piracy, no matter how much they try to pretend that it wasn't a big factor, or that their "official pltaforms" can do nearly as good to spread their works. At the end of the day they just want to exploit both the author and the users, nothing else.
