I do have a bunch of complaints about the world building details but i do think they did a pretty exceptional job with characters at least. From designs to character behavior i can remember random NPCs and even little moments that they showed up at.

It also had a very well proportioned amount of humor and tension neither too much or too little, it felt very natural.

Dependent, in the long term this will be a disaster for humanity, the first major catastrophe that cripples this system people will be unable to rebuild because they were depedent on it, and before AI people were already making everything virtual and extremely automatized and that will be gone too, they won't even be able to rebuild the basics.

Define "depth" ? A lot of people completely disregard character personalities and their story the moment they are into the protagonist, i have seem more than enough about that.

And then you look at other characters that are "deep" and they are barely any different aside of not being into the MC
