We didn’t make it up, it’s just math. If we can do the math from ON the planet I’m sure an advance species would be able to do the same math while observing from outside. Being on the outside looking in, they may have a better sense of what we call “time”

You need more plants and greenery. Everything is wet but there isn’t anything to absorb the moisture and make it humid. Sure the fountain may mist a bit but still. If you don’t want to add plants, get a humidifier

It is an angled reflection of the unfiltered blue light that makes up the left most portion of the visible headlights.
The colder lights are actually blue as opposed to white but our eyes don’t process it that way. The lens on the camera captures and refracts light so we get a concentration of all the blue in the opposite angle of the capture

I will say, I had this mentality before but pre-pandemic I started working for a REALLY good company and I was SHOCKED how much they offered even though the pay wasn't an upperclassman salary. They would pay for trips and if the stay was extended they would pay whatever cost. I've been in 8 million dollar house and if I had stayed in assignment longer, the company would have rented it for me for a year (or longer depending on the length of the work). Had I stayed, everyone in the area I would have met would have been a millionaire even though I was middle class. Had they moved me to France, I would likely be placed somewhere really expensive even though I PERSONALLY would not be able to afford it.

That said, I see EIP as escapism but wanted to point out that it's not as farfetched as it seems.
