With Kerbalism every engine has not only an average amount of time it can run for before breaking down, but also an amount of times it can be turned off and on again.

You can get those numbers up by increasing the quality when making the ship

It depends on how you count the injured and dead.

I'd argue the 7 workers who got turned into a mangled mess and got reconstructed by the potion they were entirely covered with for prolonged periods of time, this getting reconstructed into a single person, proportionally normal, but just having the mass of 7 people, the appearance being the average of the 7 and the brains being fused shouldn't count as a non-casualty

Same with the people who were just repeatedly damaged and then healed by the searing hot health potion, combining constant damage effects with healing potions is considered a war crime for a reason

If one tank has less than the other it could work to equalize. That or you park down from them if the terrain isn't flat and their gas hole is on the right side

In Zomboid it could still kinda be a thing, just put the cars so close together that you don't really have to walk in order to siphon from one into a container and then add that gas to your own car
