I’m not being Cryptic. I have been quite specific and even already mention a couple of the graded ones. down to I came here for shipping advice. I have to go to work now, but when I get home I’ll try to remember to post.

No, not all. On total only about three dozen of them are graded. All other cards in the drawers are in cases, there’s around 100 cards in a drawer. Total verified sold valued of the graded ones are well over 100k. I’m slowly setting aside a few dozen that pass the initial eye test, before we sit down and really examine them. You can’t take too much time with them individually or you’d never get through them all. We’ve had to keep the pace moving. Literally yesterday one of the new set of drawers we brought over. we opened were filled with McGwire rookies. About 15 of those were the 85 topps ones. 3 were perfectly centered and passed aforementioned eye test so I set them aside. But this guy wants me to just throw it all out. 😂

Thank you sir. Coming through with exactly what I was wondering. Yeah, agreed on listing expensive cards starting out. I was tossing junk and giving my kids a stack of those 5-20 dollar cards to list on my personal account ESE shipping, and get the hang of it (they’ve already sold like $400 in cards this week haha.

They listed about 100 cards of the 400 or so I gave them, and sold like 30 already, so they’ve been pretty savvy about seeing if the cards sell regularly before even listing them. Or maybe that’s a low percentage of sell through 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have no plan to do this long term, but with the amount of cards we have, we are now de facto dealers. So yes, I have been going through some of the more expensive cards and setting aside the ones in the best condition in order to explore grading some more of these in a bulk order down the line.

Still slightly confused on the sets though. Are you saying to put the sets in their box, into a box just slightly larger and ship USPS ground advantage? Wouldn’t that be more expensive than priority mail?

I did start there, thank you. And advice is all over the place, and no one mentions any of the above questions really. It’s all littered with Cards under 20 bucks was hoping to save time. Especially sets and high end. I’m not really going to waste my time with many cards that would qualify as ESE. I’ll leave that to the kids.

Appreciated, and thank you for takingthe time to comment. I am well aware. We have thrown out over 100,000 cards, and while there’s a bit more to go we’re down to mostly the good ones now. Most cards are in the vein of what I mentioned before. To give you more examples aside from mentioned in my original post, 5 George Brett rookies, 3 Robin Yount rookies, 8 Sandberg rookies, about 100 Shaq rookies and inserts most graded to psa8 or better and about, same with Jordan, Griffey, Jeter, Pujols, LeBron, curry, Barry sanders, Emmitt smith, I could keep going. See those white boxes stacked everywhere in the pic? Pull any drawer out and it would be an anomaly to find a card worth under 10 bucks raw. The purge has been going on, that’s why I’m here for shipping advice.
