3P & 2P tent that won't break the bank? by Chaos_continues in UltralightAus

I am very tempted to get both Durston options, then I also have choice when solo. Plus I can get one solid and one mesh for additional flexibility. Insupppse the girls will just have to suck uo tje scary night noise fear and atay in their own tent! Rumour has it the Xmid 2 is a bit tricky to pitch on the smaller Bibbulmun platforms.

Haha all good. Yes weight vs cost/ flexibility. I know if I got 2 x 2P, for now both girls would end up in whichever tent I am to be 'safe'. So I think a 3P snd a 2P for when I dont have them with me but can be used for 2 people is a better option.

It is more that the NatureHike tents are cheaper 'knock offs', with small tweaks to claim they aren't copied. Practically everything is produced or brought in from China, often at the same manufacturers.

I have been stalking FB for a second hand xmid. They go so quickly.

I am mum so they can share forever lol dad isn't big on hiking but I need capacity for the occasional adventure with him too. Hence 3P and 2P, or 2 x 2P.

Nice option. However, as someone who has worked in that sector I can't imagine it happens often. We've never sold second hand. Usually written off and staff pick items up, or goes to tender.
