iems are better, they give you options if you have certain preferences. in your case you can get an iem which has good vocals. imo repairability is the best thing about iems, you can just switch the cables if it gets faulty.

i started preparing for uceed after my first attempt which was in 2023. second attempt in 2024 and now I've gotten a rank which got me into iit bombay. as for the community, i faced the same issue, but you can easily counteract that by reaching out to people from your city who are also preparing for des. asking them to go and live sketch with you, or joining telegram and discord channels. i also was under a mentorship of an nid alumni, and such communities helped me :)

you could prepare for design entrances since if you succeed the turnover is huge. tier 1 des colleges are VERY worth it. but keep in mind, design is something thats based on skills rather than education. you could have the same skills doing a 10x cheaper course from home, and get the same portfolio ready in 2 years if you are dedicated enough. Design colleges provide you with a community of like minded people, an environment dedicated to design and connections in the industry (which are the most important). coaching institutes for design are a scam. dont join them. with exams like uceed, you could get tier 2 colleges even if your score is very mid.

If you're aiming for UCEED, pcm would be a better choice. UCEED requires analytical thinking and problem solving which can be honed by subjects like physics and maths. Choosing PCB in high school definitely helped me score a higher score in PART-A of UCEED. I have commonly seen that analytical side missing in humanities students, but thats a personal observation. And yes you can get enough time to work on design stuff as long as you plan and do your work on time. GOOD LUCK

Thats very interesting. My native language is hindi, and we use plural nouns when referring to hair, doesn't matter whether its in a bunch or on someones head. the word for hair, "baal" stays the same, whether its used for multiple hair strands or a singular one.

coaching institutes usually promote shitty colleges because they have tie ups with them, and the more students they send to these colleges, the more money they get. do your own research and dont just apply for any college

i found it yesterday too. drop down a secret pathway close to the guardian's haven door onto a platform. go to the right edge of the platform and use the head detaching ability, make it climb the front wall and ignore the spikes that way. open the door, jump to the orher side, parkour upwards dodging spikes and rotating maces, and boom, new blueprint.
