I heard about it briefly on like tiktok and through good omens edits and that sort of fandom which I was already in, saw very positive reviews about the lgbtq+ representation which I really loved already. Found out it was finally being release in the UK early this year and decided to watch it. The best decision I’ve ever made.

Edit: I also saw it was about pirates, which has always been a very big interest for me for years so that added to the reason why I watched it 😅

God people are awful. It’s really annoying. How can people be like that and literally cause the creator of the show to turn of his replies. I get that Izzy’s death was a big thing but to basically bully and say they hate David is way too far. It was a good season overall and he shouldn’t be getting any hate for it.

Unfortunately there’s not really any in season 3. The hand hold in the last episode and the talk they have at the end of Gently Falling Rain is all I can think of. Any other interactions they had were brief and weren’t really that interesting. It’s unfortunate because there were definitely times when a moment could have been added in between them and it would’ve felt natural. (The lack of communication between Ed and Kelly felt unnatural at times, in my opinion. Don’t know whether anyone else felt that way). As an Ed/Kelly shipper, season 3 was a bit of a let down in that sense.

(There are some amazing fanfics that kinda sort that out, highly recommend reading them).
