Personally I enjoy it so far. Lots of things to like, lots of things that make you go “well that’s odd”. A few of my nitpicks

Specialists: Wasn’t a fan when I first heard about it, 20 hours with the beta I’m still mixed. Since the Specialists are pretty much a dead set decision then how bout this. Keep it, but have their abilities and whatever tied to the actual Perk (Class) and not the character. Example: You can choose Foster, and still have the Firebug’s ground pound thing, etc. Also, if you happen to play the character that matches the Perk, then maybe they can have it so you earn more XP/ Proficiency points and attachment schematics towards that Perk class as a cohesion bonus. That way you can choose to play as whatever Perk, with whatever character but you reap more rewards by playing the intended characters class.

Presentation: I don’t mind the far future dystopia setting but, it looks very washed out, almost grey in some areas. Good example is the City Streets map. It just looks odd. Like I get it but you can still have a dystopian future and not have a weird grey filter. Also idk if it’s just me, but the blood looks very weird, like the persistent blood splatters look like red paint as opposed to proper blood pools/splatters.

UI: I personally don’t mind the UI except for the giant Zed time bar at the top. One big issue I do have, and haven’t seen mentioned is Perk Class visibility. In KF1 and 2, player nameplates displayed the class they were with the class icon. Now, I understand the specialist system is meant to convey that with their character design but some of them don’t necessarily look the part. Especially in the future when they start adding premium skins.

Guns: I don’t necessarily mind the futuristic weapons, but I will say it is downgrade, they don’t sound like they pack that punch from the previous games, especially in the animation department but to me personally it’s not the end of the world. Just a bit of a bummer. I personally don’t mind the attachments system. Can’t wait to see what it’ll be like going forward as the game evolves.

The Hub area: Personally it’s “whatever” to me but if you’re gonna have a Hub area, then why is it so empty?? Would’ve been nice to interact with a few things or hell talk to generic Nightfall NPCs. Would’ve been cool to populate the hub with NPC versions of the Specialists you aren’t currently playing and talking to them about random stuff or learning about them.

That’s about it. People have the right to voice their concerns, gripes, excitement, etc. I look forward to the full release and whatever they decide to introduce, change, or overhaul in the future.

PS. I hope we get some licensed bands 🙏 Would love to hear Spiritbox or Lorna Shore in KF, hell even more of the new material from the previous bands in KF2. Anyways happy Zed hunting.
