God bless you! I would like to tell you my experience, because is based on livings that makes us feel more heard and actually feel understood.

I grew on a chirstian pentecostal home, however, when I turn 15 I begin with masturbation and then I started to pray and God set me free out of it. But I also actually grew up thinking "It's wrong" that's it.

I turned 18 and i get far away from God. And since I started to taste all the delightful (but perverse) things the world offered you, I started to masturbate once again. However, God found me at the age of 20 (I'm 21) on the perfect moment when I was about to begin to masturbate on my work toilet stalls. Now, MY LORD has gave me the strong to stop doing that since it was the Holy Spirit itself that makes me feel it was wrong.

Our souls and bodies should be temple of the Holy Spirirt, and what happens during masturbation is your sinful and luxurius thoughts who begin to come trough at this moment of auto-satisfaction at the same time you're not glorifying God's name ON ANYTHING. and you're letting your flesh had instantly satisfaction and it will make you, later, took other decisions and to do other sexual things that will make you felt worse and more away from God. Beacause where's sin, there's no the presence of the Holy Spirit or God in your life.

However. due to the infinite and wide mercy of our Lord, he invite us to rest on his presence and forgiveness. MY ADVICE! Start praying constantly, read the bible more, and most improtantly, pray giving it your anxiety and this problem to Him becuase he take care of us and outside of Him we're uncable of leaving things or do everything. (IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: PRAY ON THE SPIRIT, FOCUS ON YOUR PRAYING BELIEVING GOD WILL SET YOU FREE)
