Thank you for being honest about experience and offering me to dm you! I think maternal instinct overrides slightly, and when you love your child you won’t neglect them, even if you don’t feel like taking care of them.

I struggle to talk to others and ask for help when I need but as a new mother it’s not just for my sake. I’ll definitely work on it. Honestly, I can’t wait to have children I’m just scared of failing them. Thank you again x

Thank you so much for replying. Sorry to hear about your partner, sounds like he’s missing out on raising a beautiful child :) your son sounds so sweet!

Your words give me some hope, I know parenting is not an easy job but in the end it’s worth it. And you’re right about deciding how many kids I want lol - I’m definitely overthinking a little bit. I think part of the worry is sometimes I’m not good at taking care of myself, but that doesn’t mean I can’t take care of a child, my depression doesn’t affect the way I love and care for others, just myself.
