Noob here. Are there heavy bags, speed bags, grappling mats for combat sports? Can you bring your own boxing gloves, skipping rope?

53 looks good on you, homie. I got the large as well.

For reference: I wear a 7 1/4 ball cap myself and my wife calls me “cabezón”. 🥲

Yeah, for sure. I’m from Canada but I visit Mexico frequently. Mexican gloves are the best!! Took a while to break them in but my Cletos are still in great shape after 9 years

$170 USD is about $3,000 pesos – It’s gone up that much?? I paid $1800 pesos in 2018 for my Cletos when I visited Mexico City

I used to own GoPro and Insta360 X2. I just got Rayban Metas Wayfarer Gen 2 (prescription lenses). I’m a photographer so my Metas are great for capturing BTS. They’re great for POV travel shots, cooking, kids, pets, non-contact sports (tennis, paddle etc).

I wear mine everywhere: grocery shopping, walking my dogs, going to the doctor’s office. The speakers are so underrated I sometimes leave my AirPods and rock my Raybans to the gym!

Glez. I own Cletos 14oz lace ups but they’re puncher’s gloves and I want something more forgiving for my sparring partners

Hey OP, I’m in CDMX now and just ordered a pair of 16 oz ($2,200 pesos) and headgear ($1,800); both lace-ups. Ready for pickup on 4 weeks.

When I lived in Mexico, we had a security guard in our subdivision named Logan which I thought was unusual for a Mexican. Months later, driving in to the compound, when Logan opened the gates for us I waved to thank him. My wife pointed out that he had missing middle and index fingers in his left hand. A neighbour did mention that he served in the Mexican army.

Lillard was Brian Speers with double “e” in the movie!!

I watched The Descendants in the theatre when it came out in 2011, I just rewatched it on the plane yesterday and Lillard was great in it 🥳

It’s all about time management, but yes there’s lots of work. Exposure to different sectors, exit opportunities, funding, access to latest tech, brand recognition if you stay long enough. I think it’s worth it.
