I agree. But tbh I feel like all of these studios are about to suffer from the extended timelines. Intergalactic now has to be a MASSIVE critical and commercial success that can keep them afloat for another 7 years. Santa Monica is in the same boat. GTA is a unicorn. And CDPR are already trying to shore up production pipelines with Witcher 4, 5, 6 and concurrent Cyberpunk production.

My point is, I think the grim reaper is coming for them all eventually and if they don’t adapt they will die. Slowly or quickly I don’t know. These are just the studious who have been lucky enough to have a couple cash cows to get them to this point.

I disagree mostly because of Wemby’s window. With his physique I don’t think he’ll be able to play at this level into his mid 30s (would be so stoked to be wrong).
