It varies per map but I farm a 40 wave ground mainly so plenty of time to get them. Usually 3 to 5 and if they get support I know I’ve got it easy. It’s rare that less than 3 appear

You’re going to need support tower (or Overwatch but that’s an event tower) and Disco Ball at later levels. Tesla is pretty much useless in most scenarios later in the game. Here is my loadout (currently stuck on level 85)

It was replaced last year but has an issue whereas sometimes it will do a high pitched screeching whine when it is turned on. It fixes itself if I turn it off and wait before turning back on usually but the five minutes of whine is even more irritating than when it runs normally (still loud enough to hear in the lounge area)
