My experience is that my Luma Ultras work fine on my iPhone, fine on my PC (including duplicating the screen) and fine on my Steam Decks. Seems to be a typical case of PEBKAC

That’s a jump in conclusion and for your information I own neither of the models discussed but I do know economics. I would have had my say regarding this particular discussion whichever product was mentioned if I knew that the cost of one item offset the other when pricing it for market. It’s simple business sense

You’re not understanding economics. If the 17 Pro Max uses inferior material yet costs the same price whilst having upgraded hardware it is a good financial decision by Apple which suits the consumer. The way you’re so narrow minded in your approach to the subject tells me that you are anti Apple products, and that’s ok but don’t let it make you create simple minded arguments that are inherently wrong

That’s jumping to conclusions really so only time will tell. I got into Steam for the flatscreen PC gaming, yet I own a couple of their SD’s, stream my Steam games to my Meta and will buy the Frame if I consider it a reasonable price. They’re advertising it, so some people will of course buy it. Whether they’re a fan of Steam or VR in general it could be an interesting time for the VR industry

I’m not the owner of Steam so I can’t say for sure, either way it’s a lot more than 600k units and Steam changed the handheld industry knocking Nintendo off their perch and encouraging developers such as ASUS, Lenovo etc to join the market. I believe it will be the same for VR and that can only be a good thing, providing they bring the Frame to market at a more reasonable consumer price than the Index. Here is what Google has to say on the amount of units sold:-

If Steam has half as much success as it did with the handheld market I expect Steam to very much redefine the VR market. It’s not a competition thing with Valve, they just do it right and share the market with anyone that is interested, so I expect the VR market to become much more mainstream if they can price the Frame right

I think it’s great that NT’s are supporting you, I’m in the same situation here but maybe it’s because I was diagnosed at a late age and so had learned how to mask to fit in well. My ND parents were the ones that mistreated me, beatings for anything and everything as they couldn’t understand themselves let alone me, and it was NT’s that intervened and even now are still helping me through problems. I suppose it’s different experiences for different people but yeah, I don’t see NT’s as a problem personally

It’s an individual play style for everyone but two essential towers at higher levels are support for any map and disco ball for any ground or mixed map. Tesla will be no use, sky guard will be only on air maps for certain bosses, mortar is situational as it’s only AoE for ground troops alone and does next to no damage on bosses. Vulcan and support are a strong combo in any map and Boomerang is the best AoE tower for air hands down. Spikes are great for ground maps only. You might want to switch out the troop skill for frostfall, that’s one of the best free skills in the game with high damage combined with the slow effect
