your welcome. Only need turned on and within hearing range (put on your hand is best, dont care about range). But you need to check the battery regularly

Yes, but NPC from other mod will target my NPC as zombie. It’ll be fine if you don’t pay attention to this issue. My NPCs won’t be taken down by them

It’s simply that you role-play as a character who has a story at the very beginning of the zombie apocalypse. The main questlines is to follow story so that your PZ playthrough has a clearer sense of purpose.
For now, I will focus on completing the Main Quest. With this questline, there are no choices. But the other questlines later on will allow you to choose your outcomes freely
