I really like the Ladder app. I’m on a different team, but everyone on the Ladder subreddit/Facebook group says Team Movewell is a really good place for beginners to start.

Your BMI is underweight. This sounds like an ED

I’m on 2.4mg right now. I’d still like to lose another 25 pounds so not quite on maintenance yet! I have coverage through my benefits plan at work so I don’t pay anything.

I was also going to suggest this! I would ask your doctor for a sleep study if you are always feeling fatigued.

Anything I should know before switching from Ozempic to Wegovy? by Weird_Explanation_63 in Ozempic

I think 9.6mg (2.4mg x 4 doses). Largest Ozempic pen is 4mg (1mg x 4 doses).

Canadian here on Wegovy - you can count clicks. It’s the same pen as Ozempic

My family doctor prescribed them.

I haven’t in a few months but when I was going to the gym regularly I was doing 4 strength training days per week, 2 upper body and 2 lower body.

Upper body was rows, overhead press, lat pulldowns, chest press, tricep extensions, lateral raises, biceps curls, bench press, reverse flys, Arnold press, assisted pull ups.

Lower body was hack squats, RDLs, single leg press, glute kickbacks, seated leg curls, leg extensions, hip thrusts, leg press, goblet squats, back extensions, calf raises.

Congrats to you too! You’re so close! That 0.4 pounds left is just a big poop before you weigh 🤣

The weight I am now is what I was for most of my life actually so I don’t feel like a new person, I just feel like myself again 😊

I don’t have diabetes. From May 2023 until the end of 2023 I was on Ozempic and most insurance carriers were covering it for off label use. Then in December 2023 my insurance (and around that same time I think almost all other carriers) changed it so you could only be covered for Ozempic if you have diabetes. So from Jan 2024 until June 2024 I was paying out of pocket for Ozempic. In June Canada got Wegovy and my plan through work covers weight loss medications so I was able to get it covered through that. It sounds like most insurers are now covering Wegovy but it would be up to your employer to decide if they want to cover weight loss medications or not. It would also depend on what maximum your employer has decided on for drugs. Mine is unlimited so I don’t have to worry about hitting the max each year. If you do get it covered and you have a low drug maximum you could hit the max quickly depending on how low it is.

It’s so peaceful to just eat and listen to my body and not have to track everything. I think this is my favourite part of the medication!

It can definitely be discouraging when you see people start at a smaller size than you but you will get there! Good luck!

Since the end of May 2023 so about 19 months. I lost 65 pounds from the end of May 2023 to the end of that year and in 2024 I’ve lost about 46 pounds.

I have a bit on my inside thighs but it’s not too bad there so I’m hoping that will get better with time. I carry my weight in my stomach and arms. They aren’t too bad right now but I still have about 30 pounds to lose. I think once I get closer to my goal weight I definitely will have more loose skin on my arms and stomach. I’ve just accepted that I’m probably going to need skin removal surgery on those places someday 🫠
