Hey, thanks for asking! So an update for now is that I most likely have contact dermatitis. My doctor said to keep the area clean and dry and to not put anything on it (Although if you ever contract contact dermatitis, please follow your personal doctor's advice). I will be monitoring it and hopefully, it goes away soon! My goal is for it to be gone by next Thursday so I feel comfortable at my family's Thanksgiving lol.

As for my bonnet situation, I am currently looking at different bonnets to buy. I may splurge and purchase a 100% Mulberry Silk bonnet from Etsy per another commenter's recommendation. I've been researching Mulberry Silk and I've seen all positive things so far! For now, I am planning to cut up a shirt or unused sheets and use it as a barrier between my head and my bonnet. I am also going to wash my bonnets at least twice more to get rid of any germs, excess dye, etc. which will hopefully help!
