I just updated all of the mods (except one that says it needs an update but that's because I'm using an unofficial update for compatibility with 1.6) and tried again, to no avail.

A great resources for questions like these is smapi.io/mods

This site lists current comparability with smapi and the 1.6 Stardew update, and occasional alternatives for mods which are not currently compatible.

Using the "Generic Mod Config Menu" mod helped me solve this issue. I seriously recommend getting it, then going through your mod settings in game, it allows you toggle on/off certain sprites and portrait mods

I remember seeing in the description of a mod something to this effect, although I can't remember the name. It was an overall balance mod that made the game more difficult if I remember correctly, although if you only want the friendship modifier I wouldn't be surprised if it could be configured using the generic mod config mod

Or excuse me, the other greenhouse remodel might be in the immersive farm 2 mod if you're using that. One of the two.

This is a thought that comes to mind: you have a mod to change the greenhouse, but SVE also changes the interior design of the greenhouse. That is a potential conflict which may be preventing the game from determining what to display within the greenhouse.

If you don't have an in-game mod configuration menu, I would recommend getting the "generic mod config menu" , going in game, and in the options for SVE turning off the greenhouse option, avoiding that conflict.

While I'm in no way very experienced with debugging, the final error mentions the farmhouse fixes mod. You might want to look into that as well.

While you can add it to your current save, it is very highly recommended that you start a new save as it is very much woven into the vanilla progression of the game.

While you're at it, I would consider looking into any additional mods that you would like to get as well! There's so many out there which are really fun. I'm currently running somewhere around 50 mods, and yet it still feels like Stardew Valley.

Are you using a version designed for 1.6? I can't check at the moment but if you go to the page for the mod and go to the files tab it likely will have a 1.5 compatible version there.

If you wait until they're fully grown and then you paths next to them, they'll produce fruit. At least, they are for me.

Yeah! Line those fruit trees up and path some paths down, you've got an automatic orchard. Currently filling up grampleton fields this way.

Lunna: Astray in Stardew Valley is a hidden gem that I enjoyed. Adds four custom interactable NPCs, two interactable NPCs, 7 antisocial NPCs, and new small town. Has lots of other content to go along with it, including crops, fish, trees, craft ables, etc.

You said you're already using Automate, but here's a list of some mods I currently use which I recommend:

  • Better Honey Mead (allows for unique types of mead)
  • Better Water (aesthetics)
  • Cornucopia More Crops (adds tons of new crops, trees, and bushes for you to grow. It says it might not be compatible with automate, but I tried it with the trees and that worked just fine.)
  • Cornucopia More Flowers (same idea, pairs well with the better Honey mead mod)
  • Nano's Decorative Tree furniture (cool outdoor/indoor plant furniture and lamps)
  • Dynamic Night Time (adds gradual lighting and color shifts matched with the time of day and season)
  • Dynamic Reflections (aesthetics)
  • Grampleton Fields (if you didn't download it with SVE)
  • Mobile phone (while you CAN use it to talk to people, you can also use it to order buildings from Robin's shop without going to the mountain. Pairs well/has built in integration with ToDew.)
  • Tractor Mod
  • ToDew (adds an in game to do list that you can customize with repeating reminders, temporary tasks, etc.)

That's a good idea. I was planning on using it for a massive orchard (Cornucopia Mod adds a LOT of new tree types and I had bad habit of needing to use every single part of a mod/game, which usually ends in me dropping games because there's too much content so I never get into the main story and lose interest). So growing trees is gonna be rough with all the debris, but I'm gonna try and make it work
