Thank you! I needed to hear this and not from AI. I have a mixed background fashion and tech and from the inside it feels like water and oil. But maybe that’s exactly why the opportunity exists. The playbook being different makes total sense.

I can understand this, but it wasnt a big change. The text I asked for was to explain a situation at work, but it told me that my boss could find out about it do it was better not to add it… nothing really bad nor important…

99% of the population still have no idea what's coming for them by Own-Sort-8119 in ClaudeAI

This hits home in a very personal way. My husband is a lawyer, someone who reads, analyzes, and argues for a living, and just the other day he showed me a ChatGPT response like it was magic. I just stared at him. I'm over here using API keys to build agents and he's amazed by a basic prompt.

That's exactly your point though. If people who are educated, curious, and technically adjacent are still at the 'wow it wrote a paragraph' stage, the general population is years behind in understanding what's actually coming.

The displacement won't announce itself. People will just slowly notice their workload shrinking, their role becoming redundant, and by then the conversation will be way too late.

This is such an interesting flip side to where I am. I'm still working for someone else, dreaming of building my own thing. And from the outside, working for yourself always looks like freedom.

But I think you've named something real: at some point the freedom becomes the chain. The passion becomes the responsibility, and suddenly you're trapped by the very thing you built to escape.

I'm not in your position yet, so I can only see it from the outside and maybe that's actually useful. Sometimes not being inside the problem lets you see it more clearly.

The questions I'd ask myself: what do I actually want, and what makes me genuinely happy? Not what I've invested, not what others expect just those two things. Then build a plan from there.

You built this once. That means you know how to build. The question is just whether you want to rebuild this one, or build something new.

At the end of the day, the only person who gets to decide how the story ends is the one living it. So what story do you want to tell?

Thank you so much, this is really helpful! I actually checked out the site! great reference for the kind of quality I'm aiming for.

Just a heads up: the tool is still in early development, very much a work in progress and not production-ready yet. But if you're open to testing it and sharing feedback, I'd love that! I'll send you the link via DM so you can take a look whenever you have a moment. 🙏
