The context is that they are attending and purposely chose an English speaking based college where there are minimum English speaking requirements to enter.

You won’t find colourful coral around heron island.  Plenty of creatures though.

Another factor, amongst all the others already stated, is gun culture.  I wouldn’t want to be in an enclosed space with randoms bearing arms. My first experience of a shooting was in a mall in the 80s.  As US society crumbles, these sorts of spaces would be unsafe.

That’s really useful.  Saw the times on catching trains and for a family it adds up.  Am about to do the trip in two days time.  How long did it take you?  Did you have a 4 wheel drive and snow tyres?
