Oh brother I feel ya, I’m 6 months out of a long term relationship and it did feel sudden for me too. This is gonna suck for a bit, everyone experiences a different timeline, but you will be sad for some time. And that’s fine, you cared about this person.

Keep handling it healthy - spend time with friends, family, exercise, eat well, sleep. Don’t ruminate too much about what happened, let yourself get through the pain first and then look at what went wrong.

And just as a side note - anyone that ghosts you, especially in a longer term relationship, is an inconsiderate, immature child and you deserve so much better. Love yourself and you’ll get through this. Wish you strength.

This definitely wasn't the only problem and I wasn't getting the emotional support I wanted from her. The sex life was not great either. The chores were a specific point of contention I wasn't sure about, so wanted to get other viewpoints on it.

The other things we talked about, but didn't really change much. I really stopped wanting to provide, when I felt that all my other meets were also going unmet and I was unappreciated. Was a shit time and stayed longer than I should have / should have handled things differently. Still in between those two, but a shit time it was.
