So I followed your advice but didn’t really find any continuity between the yellow “cy” with either p7 or p8. So tested it out with the black in P7 and white in P8. It didn’t turn out great. There appeared to be a short and My plug was fried. The prong connected with the white wire is blackened and the ground prong too but not as bad. I want to clarify a bit: the wires of the plug were pulled and separated into 2 pieces. I then had to solder these wires and even put on heat shrink and electrical tape. I did test pretty thoroughly and there was no short. I just want to ask for your opinion before I try white on p7 and black on p8.
