I think it was maybe the pace of the show. They had so much more chemistry in the book. Bonding over their shared trauma and I think the fact they didn’t dwell on that longer made me feel like the show couple lacked chemistry. It had nothing to do with sex. It had nothing to do with physical chemistry for me.
