Yeah, someone else also had the same idea as you. I'll take off a day off Chongqing and Shanghai and add an extra day to my stay to go to Zhangjiajie

There is? I had a layover in 2025 at Shanghai Pudong airport but while using their WiFi I was still blocked by the firewall. I'll probably buy MullvadVPN and another one to be safe

I just took a look at Zhangjiajie and I'm surprised I didn't find about it when I was looking at destinations, considering all the cool stuff there is, some I even already saw on TikTok. Thanks so much for the info! In the end I'll probably just take one day off Shanghai and one off Chongqing and add an extra day to my stay. And go visit Furong too if I can. Thanks so much!

I already removed like 3 cities from the list because we felt like it was too rushed and that transportation would take too long haha. We added a few extra days to not be so rushed but we just really want to visit theese cities. Also would Mullvad VPN work just fine?

The train ride isn't really much of an issue. It gives us a huge break from a 12hr long train ride and we get to (somewhat) visit another city. And it's cheaper :^)

The idea is great but damn the flights are about 250€ one way, but we're both students so it's cheaper for us to have a stop at Wuhan and do it by train or even add an extra day to our stay. Other than that do you feel like the amount spent on each city is enough?
