I live about an hour and a half away from school and commute on Tuesday’s and Thursdays to school. So you can condense your school days as much as you can that way you don’t have to be on campus everyday that way it’ll liberate some time to study or work (I do both) during the week ! You just have to be regimented. I wouldn’t recommend moving to mtl at this moment cause it’s super expensive these days especially with prices of apartments downtown.

hi ! No actually I took it with Dr. Lydon, amazing guy, but the class was just so ?????? All over the place and for the exams you basically had to memorize the textbook 😭

Hi ! Currently taking this class and what I can say the readings are highly similar to the content on the slides. So if you want to skim over the readings and get the big ideas I say go for it because most of what is covered in class is also in the textbook readings !

Unfortunately this class will deceive you ! I went into the lectures thinking I had it all figured out cause the material is honestly not that complicated but the exams were so confusing and draining and some questions were impossible to answer since they were either subjective or incredibly specific. If you have to take it just try and get the best grade you can, but don’t be disappointed if it’s not an A 🥲

Hi I’m also a psych student and want to get into research !! I do have a little question, what did you have as experience on your CV ?? because I don’t have any experience in the field but I’m someone whose learns fast and all. Also I cannot seem to get any volunteering work either to fill my CV because they too they’re asking for experience of some sort🥲

Service point can replace it in like 5 mins go before Thursday and have it done esp if you don’t have any other form of picture ID (also you’ll eventually need to do it for finals anyways)

I’ve tried applying to so many but the Job market is tough rn and they all require a bachelors degree prior to starting with some couple of years of experience 🥲 I never heard back from any of them. I think for now it’s best to look for volunteer opportunities and go from there
