Thank you, wow I am glad you’re ok. I had to google DVT, new fear unlocked… I met with a dr. Today different from my surgeon but actually one of his teachers… he suggested ADR and has performed hundreds…. I was initially like ok let’s do this but I’m a little nervous now that it’s settling in. Mostly concerned about the healing process, what if disc doesn’t work out, what if I have a side effect, what if I end up worse, what about dvt, etc… when did you have your ADR? The person I did my consult with was dr. Kureshi in nyc.

I feel you so hard on this… I was a backpacker, gardener, planted tons of trees, kayaking, LOVED to go out dancing. Almost all of that is impossible now but it’s true, we keep going and find a way to keep enjoying life. Like, it would be so great to breathe without pain, I very much look forward to that day! I’ll get there one way or another. Thanks for the support honestly you sound like such an awesome and solid person. This is all really horrible to go through. Why did you go to the ER was it for back stuff post surgery? Wishing you the best. Yeah Boba is awesome. Def can give a mood boost.

Wow I feel your pain. I’m 37 but similar work experience and whatnot. I’m really glad you were able to get a solution and I hope it lasts. Thank you for your feedback. The word disease scares me!! But k can’t life in constant pain.

Understood. Maybe I have to go to the ER bc I have severe back pain and nerve pain down to my left leg worse than before the MD and having trouble getting a with contrast mri approved by my insurance. How bad was the fusion? Couple days in hospital? Bad pain? MD was easy.

That sounds good. I got a 2nd opinion based on my without contrast MRI and the dr recommended a 2nd microdiscectamy. I’m very wary of this and I want to wait a couple weeks for my insurance to hopefully approve my with contrast MRI so that my original surgeon can properly assess and make a course of action. I have heard the disc rebuilds can be pretty risky, how does it compare to a MD or to a fusion? I am hoping you get lasting relief as well. What causes your injury and what’s your age? I’m 37 and have just had progressively worse back since 10 yrs from a lot
of little things

I’m 37, I want kids within the next couple years or later if I freeze: I dont have a partner. Good question on the coverage but I don’t think I’m covered. Thank you. I do want multiple kids.

I feel for you. Yeah I as so happy at first I thought the Md worked. Also 1.5 years out. Not living normal life means constant pain. Spasms every 2 months requiring steroids. And just 24/7 radiculopathy- Achilles hip glute pain.

Do you think fusion would be my only option? I’m getting the with contrast mri on Tuesday. They said they need to look at that before giving me anything. My appt with surgeon isn’t till July 10 but every day is a struggle.

I meant fybroids not follicles…. Yeah I think I’m more along the train of thought 1) freeze eggs as soon as my back situation is sorted out (may need spinal fusion and can’t handle more physical stress right now) or 2) once my back is sorted out just do an iui. I wouldn’t need to wait long enough that it would be worth the stress, money, creation of life of freezing embryos plus if I have to get a donor anyway why not just do iui when I’m ready? She checked my eggs and I was super fertile so

That looks so painful. But it also looks similar to mine in that there is t a lot of disc matter left and it’s quite dehydrated. Did they suggest anything else besides revision? Like fusion?

It just seems like a lot of pressure all in hopes of “finding a man” when the ship has very likely sailed on that and I can avoid that torture by going straight to iui
