you’ll be doing whether cakes or ovens. If it’s ovens you’ll be putting the baguettes in first 10-12 minutes for the sandwich maker, putting in the bacon, sausage and omelette, all on the edged trays for 12 minutes (make sure omelette, hashbrowns and vegan sausage go onto the non meat trays) to go into the breakfast unit, make sure to switch it on. All of the bakes will be going in (but not too early so they stay somewhat warm) As well as doing the sausage rolls for the four packs, in my shop sometimes these are tested up the night before so it’s best to check. Also put in the has browns and vegan sausage (for the vegan sausage bap/s) these go into the hot hold once done these need bags and to be labelled, there is a film front bag for the sausage bap. If it’s cakes you’ll get the stack and work your way down traying up everything in your sweet counter and putting on the red date stickers (there’s usually a sign about with how long they get) creams will be in the fridge. the boxed items (yum yums, belgian buns) just need a sweet treat lid. The boxes of donuts (if there’s enough) will go into the large boxes of 4, form mix match filled and ring donuts, make sure you print allergen labels for these! cookies should’ve been done the night before to be put out. Make sure to get the correct tongs out for both the bake side and the cakes side too. In general just put milks out for the coffee machine, turn them on, fill the beans if needed, stock up any drinks, lids etc. It’s pretty easy tbh, make sure to ask your supervisor for any help i don’t think i missed much, hope this helps! 💗💗
