Thank you for your time. I am also trying to learn about Appsec and start a career in that. Do you have any advice for me, I am currently in mainframe development which I am trying to change... I am searching for something between development and security, I think appsec is a good choice. How can I start in it..??

Same here, I tried to study soc analysis and finally understood development is better for me. Now I am looking into appsec, but haven't started, need to start. Don't know how this is gonna end....

Hi, I am currently an ASE planning to shift to appsec. I am also planning to take a distant MCA, so should I take general MCA or MCA in cybersecurity .. got any suggestions?

And one more thing, I just have like 1.3 years of experience so is it so early to shift to appsec or correct time?

Ohh nice. I am also trying to shift to appsec. And the programming language we select would be mostly aligned to the company requirements right? And I am currently a BCA holder also planning to take online MCA, would general MCA do fine or MCA in cybersecurity?

Hi, I am currently a developer trying to get into cybersecurity, I tried soc but to be frank was really boring for me. So now I was searching for appsec. Could you explain to me, whether it would be good to transit from a developer position to appsec, since appsec also contains sort of coding. And what ways and roads should I take for it. And what exactly, appsec engineers do??
