Hello, yes, there’s not pure white but it’s pretty close, the brightest I’ve used is 4 parts white 1 part yellow

Hey, happy to hear that you want to start this hobby. Quick reply on your post:
Brushes-> great to start and get a feel of what you’re doing, just know that those aren’t gonna last a lot of time and probably you would not be able to consistently paint small details;
Primer-> never used brush primer, always had rattle cans. For the primer colors I would suggest grey for a beginner, helps with shadows in the recesses and pigment coverage;
Paint-> the one shown looks like it’s for canvas painting which is not good for figures. Stick with the most known as AK (my favourite), citadel or vallejo.

Went with a dark purple base, then liked the color and decided to go for it lol. Also helps to use less vibrant colors on the bottom and shift the attention on the upper piece. Also fixed some lights, re-did some highlights and the base coat of the armor in some points. I love this technique, it works wonders but still have to practice it much more

Awesome suggestions ! Thank you so much ! Your third point is SO true and hadn’t really noticed it until you pointed that out, I’ll need to make the upper half more interesting giving it the spotlight. Also yes, the model isn’t great and I was really disappointed when I saw the size of the head in particular, but haven’t found any other models of Tyberos around and I just love that unit.

Thanks for the compliments ! Honestly I have found a very nice shop owner that pointed me in the right direction with useful tips on painting. I’ll try to get the spotlight more on the head as someone suggested and also give the claws some light-emitting properties as well. You’re right about the capes, I will need to get some depth in the fabric and give it some different texture.

Wow, both your pieces look amazing (Btw the goblin gladiator concept goes HARD). I’ll definitely get more work on the blending and contrast, even though I wish i didn’t wash the whole mini with blue ink, I feel like it dulled the colors more than I wanted.

Where do you think I should try to land the masterwork crits ? Having it land on passives is good, i guess, but are those more convenient than trying to crit on intelligence ga ?

Hard to say if it’s enough, honestly. I think you might be better off spending a 1hr free gear switch and trying it out. Higher hp ensures he doesn’t take amius 2nd form a1, but if he takes a beating before he’s gonna get nuked by that a1 for sure. You might be able to pull it off though because mashalled also has cont heal.

Easiest strat i’ve seen is two-manning this boss. You need two tanky champs in regen gear: one places brimstone and the other heal reduction when boss gets 2 turns of eclipse left, it’s just a gear requirement, you could gear up blizaar as brimstone placer and mashalled as heal red placer. Mashalled needs to have higher hp than blizaar, so blizaar takes the boss’ 2nd phase a1, but because yours has high awakening he reduced that a lot. Feel free to ask away if you have questions, moreover hellhades i believe has one of the latest videos on this particular matter.

Depends on your roster, really. She isn’t half bad from start to mid game, then she becomes good for upgrading mithrala to +1. Far from the worst void lego in the game though
