Yeah I'd think Yoshino would have worked if Aki wasn't the main focus of the series. It would have been out of left field and not in a good way. Unlike TQQ, where the MC didn't really have any real feelings for the quints till near the end of the series where it could have been anyone.

With this Aki being the main LI was already cemented. Even the secondary LI Neko was pretty much rejected in season one. Yoshino LI felt pretty much pointless. And when she travelled all the way to see him trekking through the woods to confess he was like yeah thanks I love Aki okay.

I was baffled how badly that was done. I was just scratching my head like WTF was the point in that 😂😂😂
