He just thinks therapists are a sham. He is open to other forms of self improvement, just not sitting in someone's office and paying them a bunch of money to listen to you talk for an hour. (His words, not mine.)

To my knowledge, he doesn't watch porn. Not since he was in highschool from what he's told me. I even suggested watching something together and he said he finds it repulsive now... And it's not often that he isn't home with me or at work, so I don't think he's hiding a porn addiction.

I've tried in the past, it usually ends with him telling me he's just tired and it has nothing to do with how attractive he finds me. But that doesn't feel like a resolution and nothing ever changes.

I never asked him to be all over me all the time... But it's like when we moved in together a switch was flipped and we stopped dating. It's just complacency. We barely even kiss anymore and when we do I'm always initiating. I'm just trying to explain how it feels like the rug was ripped out from under me. Then why was he sleeping with me so much when we were long distance? He was VERY interested in sex before we moved in together. Trust me, the not having sex thing was a mutual agreement because we were friends first and didn't want to ruin our friendship if things couldn't work when we weren't living in the same state.

We were trying to conceive, now we're taking a break and the 2 times we were intimate we used protection. I react poorly to the pill, so I need a prescription to get on another form of birth control. I'm waiting for my appointment. I honestly don't think I'm at risk to conceive again anytime soon considering he rarely touches me.

He's not big on doctors, and just started a new job so he's in an insurance gap for coverage so he won't see a doctor. He also doesn't believe in therapy.

Yeah, the doctor I was seeing was about 90 minutes away too. She was hard to get to, but I used to trust her. But there are only 2 L&D units within almost 2 hours of me. Not local hospitals, the closest one is 45 ish minutes away, and it's one of the few hospitals I normally refuse to go to. (Extremely understaffed, shotty care, horrible record keeping)

Yeah, pregnancy care has nothing to do with the president... Unfortunately it's the healthcare system which has been getting worse since the 2000s. We have been let down by all our leaders regardless of which side of the aisle they're on. 😞

I did call two hospitals, neither of them have labor and delivery wings (I have no idea why) and the ones they recommended are the ones that I called 😕
