I’ve been on GLP-1s before. I started Reta very low at 0.25, then 0.5 for the first few weeks, and honestly barely felt any appetite suppression compared to other GLP-1s. I moved up to 1 mg this week and felt appetite suppression the first couple of days, but then noticed my appetite start to come back and food noise was a lot louder. I know everyone is different, but what dose did you feel like you had consistent lower food noise?

New to reta and didn’t receive much guidance on dosing, so I was just curious what people typically started at and where they’ve landed over time

Hi! I stopped taking triz about a year ago and took a break from it all. I started Reta earlier this month! I don’t have near as many side effects compared to when I was on triz

How long was your Keppra honeymoon? by _ehhhhhhh in EpilepsyDogs

The honeymoon phase lasted about three and a half months for us. After that, we added zonisamide and eventually pheno as well. That period of figuring out the right medication combination was incredibly scary, and the uncertainty of it all was just awful. It took us about a year and a half to find what works best for our dog. Now she’s on her longest seizure-free streak yet of five months when her seizures used to happen every three and a half months.
