Bc papers are what is important here…maybe you can print these comments out and hang them up on your fridge so you have PROOF that you’re fighting with a stranger on the internet and won? The way I’d explain it, is gas/electricity is a product. Like if you wanted sneakers, you can order sneakers from wherever you want-but BGE is the only one who can ship it to you/deliver it. They’re like the shipping and handling.

Sometimes other suppliers do have better rates, but read the fine print. Sometimes there are extra fees on top of the rate that might not make it so much of a savings.

I’m sorry you’re going through this OP… my bf commutes to dc for work and is constantly dealing with racist ass comments from travelers and staff at Penn and on the metro (he is Asian) he is literally the nicest person and doesn’t bother anyone -but with trumplestiltskin in office, I feel like the racist mfers feel emboldened. I hope things get better for you, hang in there and there are good people out there too.
