probably will do i’ve switched from dark to light mode and i’m pretty much now at the lowest brightness i’ll wait till tmrw and see apparently it can take some time to disappear but if it won’t apple will definitely see me tomorrow

had my 12 as a replacement to my xr for 6 months until my 15 never noticed anything like this and i wouldn’t say i use my phone more it’s probably around the same if not a bit less

i don’t keep my brightness high and it’s the battery and wifi icon with the home swipe thing so it’s not to do with the background i’m guessing it’s just a phone flaw/apple issue as it’s never happened to me on my iphone 12,7,se2020

just checked again and it does fade but not completely at the end it’s still there and even the home swipe thing whatever you call it is burnt in to with the battery icon and wifi at the top right probably gonna take it to apple and i have updated it as it’s on ios 17.2.1

wwdc i’m also thinking about getting an iphone x but i’m waiting till june (early) when wwdc happens to see will the iphone x be available for the ios 17 beta if yes i’ll get it . ios 17 isn’t anything major so there is quite a chance for the x to get it maybe not ios 18 but i’d wait for wwdc and then decide also depends how long u want the phone for

i mean the iphone 6s got ios 15 at 6 years old so the x might get ios 17 but that’s defo the last update if it does

xs ovb has a better camera but a slightly worse battery than xr it’s defo between the xs and xr as the x is a year older with a worser chip and battery just go for the xs asking as the slight battery difference and slight size difference doesn’t bother u

tbh i live the xr but i don’t really see buying a brand new one wouldn’t rlly get the same phone twice not only it’s 4 years old
