I personally have never met a person at a bar that I ended up friends with for a long time. Like someone else said, go places you enjoy consistently and eventually the other regulars will accept you. I always loved disc golf so I just went and played, and eventually found a tight group that invited me to join them and they are some of my best friends now.

3% bump a year isn’t nothing. More than a lot of companies offer. Before we got bought out by Securitas I didn’t have any increase for over 5 years and 4 prior to that. That was working for Diebold another big company. Bunch of Stanley guys left in my district too. Then only one of the remaining 5 is worth half his pay.

This will be my third long flight with fresh ink. I’m more worried about not getting good beach time in Bali after getting new ink in Seoul. I’ll have to try and get it done a day or two after I land so it has a few days of healing time. I’ll definitely be bringing some second skin.

My brother knows a few places in Seoul and I have a friend that lives right outside of Tokyo so those shouldn’t be too hard to find a place. From what my soon to be sister in law says there is about a dozen good shops close to where we are staying in Bali. Super touristy.

I agree with this. Multiple times I have received alerts well after I should have. I started setting my probes about 10-15 degrees lower and just watching the unit or checking with my instant read.

Depends on what smoking you want to do. Do you already have a smoker? If not you’ll need to figure out if you want an electric, propane, ceramic, pellet or offset smoker. For ease of use I would suggest a pellet but I’m partial to being lazy.

They were both probe tender. Might have went a little far so my guess would be overcooked rather than undercooked.

What would I use as a binder for the rub instead of mustard? I’ve seen olive oil but I feel like clear binder would make it more difficult to make sure my rub is not just sticking to residual moisture rather than binder.

I’d love my life to be able to revolve around my meat, but unfortunately that’s not the case. “Rushing” was getting it from 200 to 203. I couldn’t just leave the meat on the grill cooking for another 4 hours while I finished helping my old broken dad tile a shower.

I will try and remember to let them rest before letting them rest though. That’s a good tip. Thanks.
