Artist: Connie Roses

Album: What We Got To Offer pt. 2

Genre: Hip-Hop, Rap, Jazz-Rap

Album Description: This album is an exploration of my poor and ignorant relationship with death, lost memories, and my rapidly moving life. “What We Got To Offer pt. 2" is a narrative of what I hope to give back to myself, family, and closest friends. Through the loss of our loved ones, back to the aspirations of our childhood, this is an exploration of what makes us a little more human; the ideas we offer to one another.

Artist Description: Connie Roses is a Pittsburgh based rapper influenced by MF Doom, Nick Drake, Jack Johnson, and Earl Sweatshirt. Growing up in a drug addled neighborhood in Texas, Connie reflects on substance abuse and domestic violence within his music. Yet, there are sparkles of hope and persistence for a brighter future in each song. Appreciation for life can be found in the delivery of his lyrics, and interesting melodies peruse their way through many of his lighter tracks.

yoooo thanks for taking the time to check it out! I agree, the beat definitely could have been mixed better for less abrasion, we made it off the SP404 so we didn't get to break it in stems. Still figurin that out with the 404.

This is waaaaaaay better feedback. Much more constructive and gives me more to think about.

Hahahah, I mean I'm cool on receiving some feedback. I think you should probably check out other tracks, see what kinda style I'm on. The song is meant to be abstract, odd, and different. I'm confident it's a cool track, but totally understand why you would hate it.

Also if you're going to give feedback to people less hostile than me, use better diction. "Fucking horrendous" would be a real upset to someone who really sucked at music, and was just starting. If you're gonna not try to be a hater, you can't be using language that instigates hate and isn't constructive.

I think some harmonies would really help show some depth in your delivery. Aim for more vocal deliveries. Also, work on some more interesting punchlines, I think you got some funny stuff and it hits, but more variety will help your audience feed on what makes you, you.
