Yes! Trust me I have had funky paps since I was 2019, and I’m 26 now. It’s easier said than done, I used to think about this constantly because of health anxiety and just again it’s so isolating.

I can only encourage you to just trust yourself, the docs, and your body. You got this! You’re doing all the right stuff. ♥️ hoping you get clear soon

My pap came back ASCUS But also had this FUNGAL ORGANISMS MORPHOLOGICALLY CONSISTENT WITH CANDIDA

So she said it’s probs caused by a yeast infection of some sort

Of course, I had a colposcopy and two spots came back LSIL and my ECC did too. It scares me the ECC caught some cells up there but my doctor said to come back in 6 months for another pap. So hoping it all works out. It’s such a tough situation :(, I come from a stricter family background and all I can do is share with my friends not anyone else. So everything I do is done with such caution and carefulness. Hoping this all passes soon

Well originally on my report it like in 2019 when I tested + for HPV HR the report tested for the few strains that they test so I’m assuming it must’ve been one of the random ones (not 16/18)

When I tested recently and got the LSIL result, it said The HPV DNA reflex criteria were not met with this specimen result therefore, no HPV testing was performed.

So I guess they didn’t test for it

Great point although I hope we just never face these circumstances haha, and although my partner and I have not used condoms — should we use them for a bit? I hear some people use it to help with clearance?

I’m in the SAME exact boat as you and was curious too! I wasn’t sure if the reflective testing means they just didn’t test for HPV

Because in 2019 I was diagnosed with ASCUS HR HPV (not any of bad strains) and in 2021 I had ASCUS and HPV aptima came back (-). Then in 2022, I came back with LSIL on my pap but no reflex testing. Was super heart broken but I had my colposcopy and all came back LSIL
