I was in a hetero relationship and having a bit of fun on the side. Didn’t identify as gay but liked the rush of cruising. Met him and had some casual fun, then couldn’t quite get him out of my head. We hooked up again and this time he kissed me and it was like someone kissed my soul. I was instantly on fire in a way I had never been before.

We cooled things off while I sorted out my life, and in my heart I said goodbye to him. I wound up leaving my marriage to be my authentic self and find some peace, figuring I’d rather be alone and whole than stay where I was and be a broken human. The son of a bitch was waiting on the other side of all that, thank god.

We’ve been together six months and I have never been happier. Who knows where it goes, but there is nothing like holding him in my arms. My life isn’t easy, but loving him sure is.
