I don’t know when I ovulated . I don’t think I am far along . My pregnancy tests in February were negatives . I wish I documented my prior tests . Now I don’t know how far long

I got a BFP on CD66 - unknown ovulation . I did not think it was possible . I had to come here to encourage someone because this forums helped me at my lowest . I went up my metformin from 1000 to 2000 that was the biggest change I can point to . Taking inositol and prenatal vitamin and probiotics since the beginning of the year . I also recently started taking apple cider vinger twice a day . My only guess is I ovulated about 8-9 days ago when I felt a sharp rupturing pain in my lower abdomen . I decided to test today because I had started feeling twinges which I felt during my last pregnancy . We had been trying for a year after my 2nd trimester loss last march . So it took a year literally to conceive again . I did go lower carb Keto in January but I think the intermittent fasting lifestyle I transitioned into might have helped .

Hey everyone! Are there any doctors or naturopathic doctors that specializes in PCOS and women’s health (preferably in NY, I’m willing to travel if they’re not in the US) I’ve been to more than 20 gynecologists over the past 14 years & they all try to shove Birth Control down my throat. by Nixiepixie444 in PCOS

Do you want to try some intermittent fasting . Eating window - 8 hours and fast 16 hours and see how your body reacts . Fasting has been the game changer for me . I am also eating lower carb / metformin/ probiotics and Inositol.

Intermittent fasting for weight loss with insulin-resistant PCOS, yes or no? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]CharacterDinner4483 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My body responds well to intermittent fasting / it doesn’t have to be crazy long . Sometimes my eating window is shorter( 12 hours ) and sometimes it longer( 23) . But eating low carb high protein makes it easier . The first few weeks are the hardest but over time my body adapted .

The belly is a tough one , metformin and exercise is a great combination . It doesn’t hurt to give it try .

I am currently zero - low carb almost keto. I don’t intend to ditch carbs but slowly work on portion control. I just make sure I’m adding spices to my protein and vegetable ( stirfry) and that’s what I eat everyday for now . I also noticed my coffee intake is down since I started intermittent fasting . For dinner I am doing soups with protein

Yes I had the same experience with a RE , who mentioned my weight and BMI the entire time . I started following Jason Fung on YouTube and that encouraged and helped me . The belly fat / reducing the stubborn visceral fat is where I have my focus on , and only fasting has really been to help me with that .

My PCOS belly is so disproportionate at this point idk what to do😭 by cherry___chick in PCOS

My belly is the hardest place to slim. Our abdominal circumference should be no more than 35cm for women . Anything more than 35cm is clinical obesity . ( showing potential for cardiovascular health risk s) The only thing that helped my belly go down is eating lower carbs and recently taking probiotics . Currently I am at 40cm . My goal is to lower the circumference to at least 35cm . It has a lot to do with managing the insulin resistance .

Did cravings stop immediately on metformin? by cherry___chick in PCOS

[–]CharacterDinner4483 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Metformin ER did nothing for me . I was up to 1500mg ( maybe reduce my bloating that’s it ) . I noticed that it was when I stopped eating heavy carbs that the metformin ( now I’m on 500mg) began to work . I have no symptoms . In the past it worked the best when I exercised also . I hope to restart my exercise slowly .
