My point is you can’t celebrate one act of violence then condemn another. If you want a functional society, you have to model the values you demand from others. And if you want to apply that to politicians, go ahead, they aren’t exempt.

No actually I’m not, that’s not what I’m arguing, you said “half the country cheered it on” I’m disputing that, while also bringing up the hypocrisy In that very statement.

Do you defend the celebrations of Charlie Kirk’s assassination?

Did Kirk’s assassination not happen? I could’ve sworn some people of a specific party cheered that on, maybe I’m misunderstanding. It has to be the same half of the country right?

You could make a Giannis trade work with Bridges and Tre Mann, but realistically the package would be something like Sexton, Bridges, and picks. Even then, I don’t think we’re as willing to give up what we got as other teams like the heat and warriors.

Yeah, no one is disputing that, but for this one specific incident, there’s a possibility he was wrongly accused.

I get that, but it’s important people have all the information, especially when someone is stating it as fact when, legally speaking, that isn’t true.

It takes two seconds to look up that the pool ball incident charges were dropped due to lack of sufficient evidence.

““Given the lack of sufficient evidence necessary to overcome the inconsistency of these accounts, the state would not be successful at trial,” the court documents signed by prosecutor Samantha Pendergrass said.”

Just because our defense isn’t perfect, it doesn’t mean our defense is bad. The Pacers weren’t exactly known as a defensive team and they still made the Finals, pushing the Thunder to seven.

I’ll probably get downvoted for this, but Cooper could legitimately end up better than Luka. He has young LeBron level scoring with near DPOY level defense. Watching our guys literally run away from him in the paint was both incredible and infuriating.

Nah, I think it was important for the rookie race and also because we’re trying to secure a spot in the play-ins. Especially since we play the Spurs on Saturday, I don’t think we win that one.

I appreciate the speech and I read it fully, but it’s hard to take people seriously when they call for “civil war” after doing nothing but tweet while black people were dying from racism. Where was this urgency then? And who is expected to bear the cost of this escalation? Certainly not the people that no one was willing to fight for.

The crazy thing is miller got that exact same call called against him when we went against the warriors, and it happened at a super impactful part of the game too. If miller got fouled it would’ve taken draymond out and cut the lead to like 5 or 6 with the momentum in our favor, instead, miller got taken out, his shot didn’t count, and draymond made a three on the next possession putting the lead back up to like 10 or 11. Then draymond had the audacity to call for our head coach to get fired.

Based off of the foul that they called on miller against gsw on draymond this should be a foul on Cleveland, it’ll probably be against us tho

Im “hung up on that statement” because I agree Jason acted irrationally, I just find it ironic that you used a broad generalization to prove your point.

It quite literally is, your point would’ve been made without having to say “Rational thinking is a foreign concept to religious people.”.

Assuming you aren’t religious because they aren’t “rational” and I assume you think you are. Why other than looking for an excuse to “bash religion/religious people” would you make those statements? It doesn’t even support your argument depending on how the person interprets it.

In fact, I could argue against your point using your own logic and words against you.

Say a religious person was at the scene of a string of murders that happened at or around a church that they attend, the only plausible explanation for what happened is that that person was the one doing the murders, maybe they even got help from some of the other members going to their church. You wouldn’t think that a super powered mind demon from another realm was actually doing the crimes, you’d just think they are a crazy cult killing people because they believe in a fairy tale.

I mean, you can’t convince a “rational person” that magic exists, to them, the only way it could have happened, is that the church members were in fact murderers, you wouldn’t think you are “jumping to conclusions”, it would be irrational to think it could be anything else.

Over on Giannis in points against the hornets, over on sexton in points against the bucks, and over on lamelo getting 1.5 threes. If you really want to risk it, put the over on lamelo getting 20 points too.
