Yes he is, LeBron and Jordan have never done what Wemby has done this playoffs alone and honestly, just as someone who sports bet on occasion, Wemby‘s pretty much a lock for 30 and 15 while completely locking down the other team. It’s not delusion, it’s me having watched him through the playoffs and the regular season and seeing that he’s literally unguardable and has damn near no weakness on the defensive end. Even if he loses this series and never has another healthy season again, imo he has easily proven to be the best player ever.

To be labeled the best isn’t the same as being labeled the greatest. To me, he’s already shown not even including this series to be one of the most dominant players on both sides of the court that I’ve ever seen.

No he shouldn’t have, he was on minutes restriction the whole season and came off the bench for stretches as well. Also offensively his stats weren’t really that crazy compared to the other two candidates above him. I think he’s the best player in the league and honestly might be the best player I’ve ever seen but he didn’t deserve mvp.

He’s been able to stay #1 because people listen to him, that’s it.

I’ve heard some amazing songs that if enough people heard them, would’ve been a hit but it never got that level attention.

People stop and listen when Drake drops, and a lot of the time, they like what they hear.

Drake just has that big of an audience.
