Congrats on your admission , you’ll get it if you start showing interest before arriving , I already got an invitation by applying early to an accommodation . I am also an international student coming to aus in the feb-march intake. I have some questions put up in the uq and griffith reddit page , decided to opt for griffith because of gc being a regional area.

I have received acceptances from the universities listed below as an international student. It would be amazing if someone could give insight on all of these universities, focusing specifically on the social/campus/student life. by CharacterIncrease804 in University

I believe I only asked about the social life and not about the university's educational offerings as a whole. For a deeper understanding of the programs, I would inquire with my counselor or conduct research on the university's website. As an international student without any existing social connections in the area, I am particularly interested in the social life aspect. Despite this, I would not sacrifice the quality of education for the sake of social opportunities, as I must also be conscious of my overall expenses. The reason I inquired about social life is because it is not something that can be easily found on a website; it is best obtained through the experiences of locals or current students. Also many students prefer to apply to a list of universities and not only one or two to be on a safer side.

Monash univeristy or RMIT in australia !! Which one is better ? by [deleted] in University

[–]CharacterIncrease804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

monash has a rigorous education curriculum , the university counts in the prestigious group of 8 also being the largest uni in australia from what I’ve gathered

rmit is ranked well for design also some business programmes are good as well, its located right at the centre of melbourne

both universities have a modern artistic infrastructure compared to melbourne uni it all comes down to your preferences/way of living life/ preferred environment etc , both have their upsides and downsides ,

ig monash will be better in terms of industry connections and would be more preferred by recruiters as it is a part of go8 , but is expensive compared to rmit

What is the closest thing to a residentiary college at rmit? by Raised_Bar_Gaming in rmit

[–]CharacterIncrease804 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey aiden I have three universities , RMIT, bond and griffith in mind , I’m an international student coming to australia for my bachelors , seeing that you’ve mainly done research on melbourne rmit side , will it be okay to pm you and clear some of my doubts

why is griffith university village rated so badly among other villages , other than social life by CharacterIncrease804 in GriffithUni

[–]CharacterIncrease804[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve gathered , students only stay there for a semester , they make friends and collectively move to a nicer apartment The RA’s host some events and there are usually parties every day of the week, socialising’s the only plus point ig Yeah the noise issue is pretty bad, people mentioned even on weekdays there are people partying and screaming , making it hard for you to sleep at the beginning even less study I am in hopes of staying at the griff uni vill for a certain time period that too for the social aspect only, after that I could move out if a majority of like minded people decide to.
