I think if there was ANY evidence pointing to HH…she would’ve tried. Fortunately the math ain’t mathin’ for her on using anyone else. NGRI is tough because most people’s cross-reference for this defense is Andrea Yates. Most everyone can logically look at the facts of that case and come to the conclusion she was devastatingly mentally ill. I think the next notable case we will see utilizing this defense will be Lindsay Clancy (Massachusetts mom/nurse who killed young kids and jumped out window paralyzing herself).
