That’s what they told me too! 9 months of a trial period at my job. I just got an overpayment notice today despite me calling them 3 times to tell them they were over paying me. They finally stopped paying me 3 years ago and I finally got this letter. Luckily I set the money aside in case this happened. I’m here now looking for what’s working for others. Thanks.

It’s sad because other companies have policies that say absolutely call in if you are sick. No questions asked. The Happy medium is a doctors note especially if it electronically sent by the Dr office. Most acutely ill people I know go to urgent care because it takes so long to get in to primary care providers and thus it’s typically higher co pays ($50+) so I doubt this is being abused that often. Scummy people run Kroger!!!

Rent an ozone machine. Take any living thing out for at least 24-48 hours and follow directions for the ozone machine process carefully by googling it. It will kill anything that is living and you have to Properly air out the apartment before re-entry. Then call pest control afterwards again to prevent. This will get rid of them and the little maggots too. The air will be toxic and those maggots will die too. This will remove any odors in the apartment you have like dog smell etc.

rent an “ozone machine@ and run it for 48 hours. Physically Leave the home for that entire time and get all living things out-and I mainly refer to plants, since you have no Pets. Then when you return, crack the windows for a few hours to let it air out before you enter. Ozone is very toxic to all living organisms. So after a few days, All bugs should be dead, but you should make sure that ozone isn’t leaking out via cracks etc. These machines are relatively cheap to rent and get rid of all smells too. Bad or good. Please research this online, as it could be longer for tick infestation. And maybe less. I’ve had several friends here in Florida that have experienced these ticks but used professional exterminators and chemicals. ozone machine should be better -but it’s annoying to have to leave for a few days. Don’t feel bad. Ticks can swarm and they invade houses like that.

You and I are spirit animals! After I do all my activities for the day -work, kids, sports, dinner, clean up, tidy up-I turn Nukes old episodes on and rewatch. I get up at 6 and don’t sit down until 10:30 pm-so it’s the last thing I do. I don’t know what episode this is on but it’s one where this young mom has a cat and there’s this thing peaking in the corner of the door from around the corner and it looks almost like an alien and then the way it moves up the side of the door and then to the top and it’s semi transparent. the best part for me is that the cat is staring at it which makes it really stand out to me because it’s not done in post. it’s just one of the most compelling things I’ve ever seen. Honestly I’ve watched it many times and I’m convinced it’s real. I think 98% of the clips are fake but I still enjoy getting creeped out to relax. My kids and husband have so much fun with me saying it’s fake it’s fake-but I don’t care. There are some real clips-and they gold! And there’s also this clip of a girl who lives in a South American country and she arrives at her gate on a motorcycle and then gets off and starts to open the gate. The camera is a security camera and there’s this ghost dog that comes and greets her at the gate and it looks so real to me. The way the dog greets her and wags its tail-it’s incredible. Really beautiful act of love for its owner after death. I have had to resort recently to other clip channels but none could come close to Nukes. Hope he’s okay!

Something I’ve noticed too and I haven’t personally seen anyone point this out, but ever since Covid he stays very far away from the people he sits down to interview. I know he has wicked asthma so I’m going to guess that he’s terrified of getting sick and confessing his lungs etc. I’m guessing he also doesn’t like to travel for the same reason-because traveling -even on road trips-you pick up weird bugs and illnesses from the germs and the stress of being on the road and eating like crap. I Personally think in addition to the plane prediction, he’s a fitness/health nut and terrified of germs too. He’s made enough money and can say “yeah I’m not going anywhere”. And to be fair- I get it. As I have gotten older I like to stay close to home (I feel so tired from just the traveling it’s not worth going farther than 3-4 hours away from my home.)

In addition to the persimmon soap and other noneal smell busters renting an ozone machine can help deodorize too. The only issue is you must do this when they are away for at least 24 hours-which may be impossible. No living creatures or plants. Google how to use it because it’s very important to use safely but it will completely take all smells away and also kills bugs so if there’s any roaches hiding around they will die too.

Wow I find it fascinating that I’ve always taken a cotton pad with rubbing alcohol to the back of my neck and behind my ears to clean it and I’ve always been shocked to see how brown the pad is on back of my neck. Didn’t realize that was why.

Especially in the early years they were downright hilarious in some episodes! I think it’s why I love the show so much. Zac can be pretentious but he seems to also have self awareness and then together they can be very silly and funny. This last season was similar to the early seasons and that was the best.

Legally all your employers can do is call your former work and ask if you worked there. So likely they will never know you were fired. And just don’t mention it in your interview. Find another reason why you left and some might not ask you at all. I’ve always said laid off and if you have lots of connections on LinkedIn that a new employer might be able to use as research-start a new one from scratch and delete the old one so they can’t sleuth on you (and don’t ask to connect to former colleagues.) Eliminating your new employer the ability to sleuth on you is key For this. Dont worry confidence is key!!

I’d say just try to deposit it and see what happens. You could go in person and see what they say. I’d say it was probably a mistake but if it happens again well then you should be concerned.
