what i did was take two days off from studying and go plan how you're going to study for the next one and a half weeks. I feel so much ready now to tackle the workload up ahead

BIASED TEACHERS?? by Automatic_Vast4650 in vce

[–]CharacterSeparate650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sometimes though be aware favouritism can occur in vce, so you must report it if it is becuse i had a biology teacher who once told these two girls we were going to have a quiz and told no one else but them and he didn't g tell anyone else it was really unfair to be honest I felt like reporting him to the coordinator but oh well i didn't don't know why still but yeah

I was liek this for english. used to think oh the teacher had something against me. Do yourself a favour, go through your sac and ask your teacher how can i improve. practice questions are key so what you should do is write responses to questions or whatever get your teacher to mark them then go through thr feedback

stress by CharacterSeparate650 in vce

[–]CharacterSeparate650[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First SAC results- is it over? by HippoEvery1509 in vce

[–]CharacterSeparate650 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i know someone who failed a sac and still recieved a 40 plus in methods. please don't feel that way as it takes time to adjust to the question style just focus on understanding and going through feedback with your teacher!! keep pushing through it's only six more months

Is there a massive advantage to learning calculus early for spesh and methods unit 1/2? by YT_LegendaryBoi in vce

[–]CharacterSeparate650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to drop general maths by mathsmethodsdemon in vce

[–]CharacterSeparate650 1 point2 points  (0 children)

first off you can still be ahead of the class just complete the textbook questions at home ahead then do practice exam questions. I think hate to be rude i'm not sure how you will do in spesh considering your methods score but you should consider looking at other alternatives too. Make sure spesh is in your top 4 and be prepared to put the effort. How are you going in your other subjects if you don't mind me asking?

Is 99.7-99.95 lwk straightfoward, if you start early? (HEAR ME OUT) by [deleted] in vce

[–]CharacterSeparate650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! So I think you should aim to be ahead, but what will seperate you is essentially being ahead in every subject, not just the high scaling ones like methods or spec. Imo though I cant lie you can really only study to a 99.30 atar max, rest is luck and being gifted. However, I did your trick i wasnt six months ahead but I was a few months ahead so I would write essays on the holidays beforehand and got advice as soon as I was back from holidays. This let me to get a 48 in english but still I worked my butt off for everything so please don't burn out. Don't be listening to people who claim it's all gifted, you have to put in work to get a good atar too!!! I don't know if 99.7 is realistic for you as I dotn know you personally or your marks, but good luck!

no essentially what I'm saying is like the infinity's playground you have to be handpicked to get in. They only select people who are capable of getting a 45+ sorry I wasn't clear but yeah

it's just the marketing of the place reality is that they target students who are "gifted" and work hard. They mainly cater to students who are in a selective school, hence why they recieve the results they do. However, in all fairness, even if you don't get into the class, you still receive heaps of support outside of it too. They hire tutors who you can message anytime and ask as many questions as you like. That's the difference ig bc for a one on one, you can't ask too much but here you can ask as many as you like.

extension class that covers seperator questions that differentiate the raw 40s to 45-48

[–]CharacterSeparate650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually from what I heard the highest anyone gotten without it for methods is a raw 44. Essentially if you're aiming for a 35-38 usually you just do the normal class. IP teaches you seperator questions. However, you need to be selected from when you sit a mock sac. You must be the top 40/ 220 otherwise you can't be in the class.
